Uni-Lug Wheels

The most common Uni-Lug wheel is the classic Cragar S/S.

Paste 2 2 4 – clipboard history manager. These wheels use an oval shaped hole to fit 3 popular bolt patterns:

  • 5 x 4 1/2 in.
  • 5 x 4 3/4 in.
  • 5 x 5 in.

The wheels use oval shaped washers that fit into the wheel. The washers have centered or offset holes, based on the bolt pattern of the vehicle. A Shank Style Lug Nut is used to hold the wheel on.

  • The offset washer, with the hole positioned inward, is used for a 4 1/2 in. bolt pattern.
  • The centered washer is used for a 4 3/4 in. bolt pattern.
  • The offset washer, with the hole positioned outward, is used for a 5 in. bolt pattern.

Dual Pattern Wheels

Dual pattern wheels have 2 sets of holes drilled in them. So, a wheel for a 5-lug vehicle will have 10 holes.

The wheel above will fit a 5 x 4 1/2 in. AND a 5 x 4 3/4 in bolt pattern. There are 10 holes in the wheel:

  • 5 on a 4 1/2 in. circle.
  • 5 on a 4 3/4 in. circle.

Dual pattern wheels generally use a Conical Seat Lug Nut. They also use a hubcap, center cap, or plugs that cover the unused holes.

Notes

  • You must match the bolt pattern of your vehicle to the bolt pattern on the wheel.

  • Some wheels are listed as fitting 4 1/2 in. and 114.3mm bolt patterns.
    • This is NOT a dual pattern wheel. 4 1/2 in. is equal to 114.3mm.

In stock and Custom Built

US Wheel Adapters stocks lug centric and hub centric wheel spacers for many different vehicles and applications. USWA also custom builds using all American machinery, materials, and hardware. Customers use spacers to widen the vehicles track, and to add space between the hub and wheel as to adjust for clearance issues. Hub centric rings added to in stock hub centric spacers will work to pilot aftermarket wheels. If you are trying to fit the wheel of one factory vehicle to the hub of a different vehicle, or are attempting to change the bolt pattern then you are looking for a Wheel Adapter.

What are Wheel Spacers?

Bolt On Wheel Spacers

Customers typically widen the stance of a vehicle using bolt on wheel spacers. These types of spacers are also commonly used to fix backspacing issues. Unlike adapters, spacers will keep the same bolt pattern as the vehicle. Bolt on Spacers are available in two designs, hub centric and lug centric. Hub Centric wheel spacers pilot by the hub of the vehicle. This means they center on the hub of the vehicle while simulating the piloting lip on the face side. Lug Centric would mean they are centered only by the lug nuts. ‘Bolt-on' style bolt to the hub of the vehicle using the factory studs and provided lug nuts. The wheel is then secured to the studs of the wheel spacer using the factory lug nuts already on hand.

Slip On

Cascadia 1 4 5 Lug Wheel Adapters

‘Slip-on' style slide over the existing studs, so it is important to make sure that there will be enough thread left past the wheel spacer for secure installment of wheel. Otherwise, you will need extended wheel studs. These slip-ons can also be hub centric meaning they will pilot on the hub center and have a lip to pilot the wheels. Although the minimum thickness for slip on style hub centric spacers running factory wheels will be around 12mm (in most cases) in order to clear the existing hub lip or ‘flange' found in the center of the hub. The minimum thickness is 5mm for vehicles using aftermarket wheels with a larger center bore. Also Available with no lip.
